Ladies,
today I want to reveal my favourite mascaras of the moment.
These are one by one mascaras that give wonderful volume, length and curl. Some of them have a little extra and I will explain to you.
Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Waterproof
This is my favourite every day mascara. It does not clump the lashes, but makes them look natural while still giving nice depth. It is waterproof enough to last me all day without any snowing or panda-ing and it gets removed like a dream.
Lancome Doll Eyes
This one is both great in the waterproof and non-waterproof version. The pigment is ultra dark, the bottle is cute, the brush though is a little bit on the sharp side. But the cone shape makes this a great mascara for focus on the outer corners, giving an angelic and sexy effect. May clump a little bit and is not the most buildable of all.
Lancome Hypnose Drama
Again both great as waterproof or non-waterproof, but both very hard to remove. The waterproof one is the absolute best to go swimming in, it does not budge, and takes forever to take off even with double phased remover. It always give you a false lash effect, very dark, thick lashes.
Lancome Monsieur Big
I have this one in the blue tube (waterproof version) and the amount of volume this gives without effort is unbelievable. Con: this tube gets very messy around the edge, strangley enough.
Dior Diorshow
I believe I had the non waterproof version of this, with an enormous brush, which feels very soft. The result is very natural, with good seperation of the lashes.
L'Oreal Miss Hippie
I have been using this now for a few months and I love it! The word hippie gave it away, those thick 60's lashes that just give you this je ne sais quoi, like Brigitte Bardot. This mascara instantly offers volume on top of volume, and makes for super sexy lower lashes. I wanted to repurchase, but it was sold out!
L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes
I used to love this mascara when it still had a brush instead of a plastic comb but I still want to like it, it just had to be on this list, cause it still gives a good lash, it just hurts my eyes personally to apply it with a comb. For the rest it works brilliantly. It applies cleanly, it never irritates, it gives a lot of volume and just this sexy eye...
L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes Fatale
I have discovered this mascara a few weeks ago and I love it! It applies all clean, does not irritate, not even when sleeping in it (I had to, I'm sorry), but it is not very waterproof. I know because, well, I slept in it once in the summer and woke up with horrible panda eyes. I do not recommend this for sleeping in it, but if you are looking for a more wateproof one, any of the ones above in the waterproof version will do a better job than this. Anyway, the upside is that this mascara removes very easily with a bi phase remover. And the volume is brilliant, my mother asked me if my lashes were natural, cause they looked like butterflies! Thanks mom!
