Beyoncé's daughter Blue Ivy celebrates exciting news during lockdown - HELLO!

Beyoncé and Jay-Z have one very talented daughter! Blue Ivy may be only eight years old, but the little girl is already making her mark in the music industry. This week, it was announced that Blue had been nominated for her first BET Award for her song Brown Skin Girl, which she collaborated with her mum, Wizkid and Saint Jhn on.

She is up against other big names, including Lizzo, Alicia Keys, Missy Elliot, Ciara, Lupita Nyong'o, Rapsody, City Girls and Layton Greene. Blue's mum is also in the running for nominations for best female R&B/pop artists, album of the year for Homecoming: The Live Album, and best movie for her Netflix documentary Homecoming, which also features Blue, Jay-Z and their two-year-old twins Rumi and Sir.

This isn't the first time that Blue has been recognised for Brown Skin Girl. In 2019, the little girl scored her very first hit on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. The single was placed at 77 on the Hot 100, with Blue being credited as one of the track's songwriters. She also appears at the beginning and end of the song, and in the music video.

In the hit, Blue opens and closes the track singing "Brown skin girl/Your skin just like pearls/The best thing in the world/I'll never trade you for anybody else."

Blue Ivy has been nominated for her first BET Award

In February, meanwhile, Blue celebrated surpassing one million monthly listeners on Spotify. She has also appeared on the singer's 2004 song Blue, and has been involved with some of her dad's songs too, including Legacy and Blue's Freestyle/We Family. Blue even became the youngest person to appear on a Billboard chart after featuring in the rapper's single Glory, just two days after she was born.

Beyoncé's daughter is following in her footsteps!

While Beyoncé doesn't tend to share photos of her children on social media, Blue was recently seen dancing to her parents' song Mood 4 Eva, which they collaborated with Donald Glover on the The Lion King in 2019. Footage of the eight-year-old was posted on her stylist, Manuel A. Mendez's Instagram account in May, showing her showcasing her moves in the living room.

Blue has made several public appearances with her parents, including at red carpet events and glitzy award ceremonies. She even featured in Beyoncé's music video for her single, Spirit. Her younger siblings Rumi and Sir, meanwhile, are still too young, as Jay-Z explained to Prince Harry while on the red carpet at The Lion King premiere in London in 2019. When the royal asked where they were, he replied: "They are not here. They don't come on every trip. We left them at home."

What a busy day it has been for celebrity kids! Even from a young age, these children are striving for success. Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott's two-year-old daughter Stormi Webster is Vogue Czechoslovakia's latest cover star with her mom. Beyonce and Jay-Z's eight-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter has been nominated for a BET Award for her feature on her mother's song "Brown Skin Girl."

Stormi Looks Adorable In Her First Vogue Photoshoot With Mommy Kylie Jenner

The cover of Vogue Czechoslovakia featuring Stormi and Kylie is absolutely adorable. The pair posed side by side with the words "Bedtime Story" written on the stunning photo. And the best part is, it was shot on Kylie's iPhone from the comfort of her own home. The coronavirus pandemic prevented them from doing an actual elaborate photoshoot but these photos are more intimate and show a deeper look inside of this iconic mommy-daughter relationship.

Along with the cover, separate images were also shot via FaceTime by The Morelli Brothers. Kylie used the front camera on her iPhone while the photographing duo snapped the pictures. This is such an innovative way to do a photoshoot given the circumstances.

This may be Stormi's first Vogue cover but it is not her first magazine cover entirely. Back in 2019, she appeared on the cover of Harper's Bazaar Arabia. The mother-daughter duo posed with momager Kris Jenner in matching cheetah print outfits.

Blue Is Also Achieving Success With BET Nomination

Beyonce's song "Brown Skin Girl" from "The Lion King: The Gift" soundtrack is up for the 2020 BET Her Award. This award honors neo-soul and traditional R&B artists. Blue is featured on this song that reached number two on the Billboard 200 charts. How amazing for her to be apart of this honor! Beyonce described this particular album as a "love letter to Africa" and was delighted for her eldest daughter to be a part of it. The music video for the song also features a montage of moments from Blue's childhood and is extremely heartfelt. Plus, her verse in the song is truly adorable and moving.

Blue Ivy is no stranger to being featured in her parent's songs. She made headlines as the youngest person to ever have a feature top the billboard chart with Jay-Z's song "Glory." Not to mention she was also featured in her mother's song "Daddy Lessons" along with the"Mi Gente" remix. And, it doesn't stop there because she also shocked Beyonce fans with her vocal runs on the song "Lift Every Voice and Sing."

It's pretty safe to say that both of these girls have achieved more in their young lives than some people do in their entire careers. And we can't wait to see what the future holds for both of them. Blue Ivy is bound to be nominated for a Grammy soon and Stormi might just be the next top model.

Camila Cabello is working on her own version of a very popular song from 2008!

The 23-year-old "My Oh My" singer is starring in a new Cinderella live action film, and it's being reported that she will cover Beyonce's "Single Ladies" for the movie.

A Twitter account called FilmUpdates reported the news last weekend, saying that Camila and Missy Elliott, who plays the Town Crier in the flick, will perform the song together.

The upcoming new movie is set to take on a modern feminist twist, and also stars Idina Menzel, Billy Porter, Nicholas Galitzine, Luke Latchman, Tallulah Greive and Fra Fee.

Cinderella was in production in London earlier this year until the pandemic hit and caused filming to shut down. The movie was then pushed back from it's original release date.
