Eric Zorn is a columnist for the Chicago Tribune and he doesn't understand how non-citizens are not allowed to vote and what is the problem of allowing them the vote. Zorn says in Chicago non-citizens already have voting rights for local school boards and other local issues and sooner or later Mr Zorn says there will be demand to allow all non citizens to have extended the right to vote much like in American history where it was eventually gained by women and slaves. Zorn defended this corrupt state and the department of Jesse White's drivers license registration programmed where it had been found out that at least ten thousand non-citizens were extended the right and voted in past elections. If I understand Mr Zorn right why does he stop at allowing the vote for just non-citizens who happen to have illegally breached our borders to take a manufacturing job and so forth. Why not have the average Afghanistani banana stand owner and his family have the right to use their political influence to sway American elections.
